Hebrews 5:7-10

1.    It’s easy to miss something you’re not looking for. Tuck inside every crisis is an opportunity. If we pray!!

2.    Hurry hates interruptions and a crisis is an interruption.

3.    When God begins a work in our lives it often is disguised as an interruption or crisis.

How does faith take a crisis and turn into a divine interruption?

Hebrews 5:11-14

1.    Be willing to learn from the Holy Spirit.

2.    Share what you learn with others.

3.    Look to grow

A prophet lives successfully through a period of 7 terrible years because he trusted God.

Genesis 37:23- 28

Overnight, you can lose status, home, financial resources, parents, occupation, culture, and all your friends...everything.

When a crisis comes, everything that you have been counting on is gone, and it feels like falling off a cliff.

Joseph wakes up...strange bed, strange house, strange land, with only one thing...God.

Genesis 39:1-2

Prosperity is not contingent on who is selling you off.

Genesis 39:19-23

When employment goes from prestigious to common don’t underestimate God’s influence.

Remember the harvest principle.

1.    Save some for the future

2.    What you sow comes back greater and later.

Genesis 41:50-52

The next generation can either benefit or suffer according to our faith during a crisis.

Genesis 50:19-20
